iPad Storage - Free up your space

There  are several quick tasks that can help free up memory storage on your iPad.

Is your iPad full?
Here are some quick wins you can use to free up valuable space.

Is there something else that you do to quickly free up space?
Let me know and I will add it to the list below.

Offload the apps you no longer use that are taking up unnecessary space.

This may be done in your Settings.
Use iCloud to 'optimize' your Photos storage.

All of our devices should be signed in  to a school iCloud account.
Remove your deleted photos and videos.

This is very similar to 'emptying your trash can' on a laptop.  After a while, they are removed automatically, but you may not want to wait.

Other Tips to reduce storage issues:

-Use Keynote instead of iMovie for simple video work since these files may be stored in iCloud instead of the iPad.

-iMovie Projects could be removed after they are exported/shared since they use significant memory.

-You could have a pending update waiting for a simple restart.
